Isolated AC/DC conversion with backup battery continuity and supervised protection
Security power supplies normally convert utility AC into regulated low-voltage DC rails while float-charging a standby battery. When the mains fails or droops below threshold, the battery-switching path must maintain output continuity with minimal disturbance to cameras, locks, control panels and communication peripherals. The controller supervises PFC, primary conversion, secondary rectification, charge current, battery condition, output current, fault status and thermal behavior to deliver dependable always-on operation.
